Peonies and Lilacs

Kathy Cole is the owner of Peonies and Lilacs, a small women-owned floral business in Downingtown, PA. Back in 2018, Kathy's love of gardening began with her first raised bed. Today, she has nine raised beds and three perennial beds.

You see, Kathy grows all of the flowers she uses for her floral arrangements. The majority of her flowers are grown from seed by either winter sowing or indoor seed starting, tubers, corms, or bulbs.

The thought and care that goes into Kathy's floral creations is evident in her final products. Elegant, beautiful and unique. Arrangements are designed based on what is in bloom, healthy, and beautiful. No two arrangements are alike, but all are made with quality and care.

Kathy also makes every effort to use as few chemicals as possible in her garden. Her goal is to provide a beautiful and healthy supply of nectar and pollen for the pollinators who visit, while maintaining a healthy supply of flowers for her customers.

I grow all of my flowers on my property and arrange them personally, taking care to pick beautiful flowers for you., All flowers are seasonally grown, giving you the best of the best for the time of year. I grow responsibly, sustainably, and with love for the earth and our local community.
